Model: 1982 VH SL/E sedan
AVHSLE was brought in by Adam Glover for a showroom finish respray.
The vehicle was stripped back to bare metal, carefully preparing it for painting. The colour selected was a custom match to Adams requirements with a pearl added for effect. Glasurit was the Paint of choice and after all these years it is still showing its high deep gloss with a wow factor.
Body is straight with no blemishes or ripples to be seen anywhere, a real credit to the panel beaters Roger & Doug.
Truly a beautiful restored vehicle that turns heads every time it hits the tarmac.

Model: 1966 HR Holden Ute
The Holden HR started its life as an old rusty ute in the back corner of one of our customer's back yards.
After exchanging one hundred dollars for the old girl, we set to work restoring her back to former glory. Many long hours were spent on the body work stripping, replacing panels, welding in areas affected by rust etc. The tail gate skin was handmade to fit the frame due no longer available.
Looking straight again, we set about applying a Dulux Rapide 2 Pak enamel Chrome yellow. The vehicle was kept mostly original with sign writing of M & M Groves smash repairs displayed down the sides & rear. For many years it was used as the workshop ute and was well known.
After an offer that was too good to refuse, the vehicle was sold to Nick for the next chapter of its life. He went on to have all the mechanicals, interior, running gear etc changed for the purpose of a show vehicle. Many awards were won including best ute at the Canberra Nationals.
Banana Smoothie is certainly a smooth looking vehicle.
